Recently, we polled our community to ask about their writing habits and what motivates them to sign up for writing workshops and events. Here are the results.

What kinds of support or experiences would help you grow or feel more confident as a writer?

  1. Writing motivation — like writing together in a group, virtually or in-person
  2. Building community with other writers
  3. Feedback from peers – in a creative writing workshop format
  4. Learning how to write memoir or personal essays
