Tyler McCray first started writing at the age 11 and has continued to explore his interest in queer literature and poetry throughout the year. He spent most of his life performing at cafes in Orlando, Florida. His first published piece ‘Hashtag Orlando’ was inspired by the aftermath of the Pulse shooting that shook his community in 2016. His main focus is poetry and writing queer fictional YA literature. It is a dream of his to publish books of his poetry and queer fictional novels.
